The Sharon Quilt

An old friend told me she wanted a quilt.

Teal and gray.

I said, "Sure, here, look at these fabric websites and tell me what you like."

Teal and gray turned into turquoise, teal and chartreuse with gray. 

She wanted "patchy."  I'm never quite sure what people mean when they say that, so I showed her some pictures of different styles of quilts.  She liked the string quilts.

 So here's where we're headed
I figured out it's going to take 188 blocks to complete this quilt.  I have about 120 done so far.

 

I have to say, I love her color choices.  I sort of want to keep it....
