A Bit of Improv

It seems everyone is doing this improvisational piecing.  I decided to give it a try.

I had already chosen a color scheme - inspired by my dear friend, Celeste.  She's pretty much improvising her life one day at a time - and I love that about her - so the chaos and imprecise beauty of improvised blocks seemed a perfect fit.

I also love the idea of word quilts, so this is my first stab at that as well.

 

 It's been fun to just play with it all.
